Values to Voice
Welcome! I'm glad you're here.
You probably have a few things competing for your attention right now. Maybe you're the person other people come to when they have a problem, which can make it surprisingly hard when it comes to working out what you want.
This Mini-Quest helps you sort through all of that. In about fifteen minutes you'll pick out the few things that matter most right now, and choose one to act on this week.
You'll end up with a Quest Log: one page with what you worked out, so you don't have to keep it in your head.
What keeps not getting done?
The things you're constantly thinking about needing or wanting to do, and never get to. Add them one at a time. That swirl is what makes everything feel like too much, so the point is getting it out of your head. Sorting comes later.
Need a starting point? Tap one of these, then add the specifics:
Press Enter to add it and keep going.
Which of these matter most to you?
Read through the list and pick up to five. Twenty common ones, plus room to add your own if something's missing.
0 of 5 selected
Which one is getting the least of you?
Of the values you picked, choose the one furthest from how you're actually spending your days, rather than the one that sounds most important. If two feel equally true, take the one you'd rather not look at. The rest of the questions in this Mini-Quest build on this one.
Where did your time actually go?
Where did you actually spend time on this last week? Even if the answer is none.
What took priority instead? Everything competes for the same hours.
Say it in plain language
When what you do lines up with what matters to you, there's less friction and more ease. Putting it into your own words is what makes that possible.
Finish the sentence. Plain words.
What do you want to be different? If this goes the way you want, what changes?
One action for this. This week.
One action, small enough that a bad week doesn't kill it. Progress over perfection.
What's the action? Specific enough that someone else could tell whether you did it.
When, exactly? A day and a time. The more specific it is, the more likely it happens.
What's most likely to get in the way? Name it now, so you can plan around it.
Where should I send it?
Your Quest Log is ready on the next screen. Tell me where to send a copy and I'll email it to you. Your answers come with it, so I'll see what you wrote, and I'd love to follow up next week to hear how useful this was and what difference it made in your week.
That doesn't look like an email address.
I'll need your number to send that text.
Your Quest Log
This is what you just decided. Keep it somewhere you'll see it before the week is over.
